The Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases (GRA) brings countries together to find ways to grow more food without increasing GHG emissions. There are more than 30 country members of the GRA, which was launched in December 2009 in the margins of the UN climate change conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. Further information can be found at http://www.globalresearchalliance.org/
. The UK is stepping up its scientific and technical engagement and participation in this initiative by contributing towards key actions and activities identified by the GRA Livestock and Croplands Research Groups. This will build on the current UK GHG Agricultural R&D platform and promote and enhance the UK’s technical reputation in GHG research and mitigation.
